The Bard Veterinary Group takes its name and logo from Scotland's most famous poet Robert Burns whose statue stands in the centre of Dumfries town.

Resistance to horse wormers is becoming a major problem.

Worming your should therefore be reduced to a minimum and only when your horse actually requires it.

In order to prevent introduction of resistant worms from a new horse or onto new pasture you should stable the horse, worm it with moxidectin and collect all faeces for 36 hours afterwards.

These should  then be disposed of.
